Plot: The movie ‘Mubarakan’, is about two twins who are separated at the birth, as their parents die in an unfortunate car crash. Then the two kids left behind need a family, so their paternal uncle Kartar Singh, sends Karanveer to his sister (Ratna Pathak Shah) in London and Charanveer to his brother living in Chandigarh. So the two real brothers grow up as cousin brothers. When they are all grown up both their parents start looking for a suitable match for them, while both of them have girlfriends, but are unable to tell the same to their parents. So to rescue them from the situation they approach their uncle, Kartar Singh, who further messes the situation and in turn, give us a lot of laughter moments.
Review: The movie is indeed a laughter riot all through. Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor’s chemistry and comic moments are ultimate and make the movie a fun and entertaining one. All the actors in the movie have contributed amazingly to the movie. Be it Arjun Kapoor as suave and sweet Charan, or smart and naughty Karan, Ileana D’Cruz as Sweety, Athiya Shetty as Binkle, Anil Kapoor as Kartar Singh, Rahul Dev as Binkle’s father, Ratna Pathak Shah as Karan’s mother and Pavan Malhotra as Charan’s father, all are excellent. There is no single dull moment in the movie; whosoever comes on screen gives you a good show.
The movie is a perfect family entertainer and good for watching with your family on a get-together or festive occasions or just like that.
The cinematography of the movie is worth appreciating, it has been shot in picturesque locations in London and Chandigarh.The movie is full of laughter moments and at times so much that your stomach starts aching.The movie’s music is foot tapping and catchy, the songs are already scoring high in the chartbusters list.
What To Watch: Kartar Singh is the highlight of the movie. Anil Kapoor makes movie entertaining and engaging. If nothing else go for the movie to watch him in his one of the funniest roles after ‘welcome’ and ‘welcome back’. It is recommended as a family entertainer and will be enjoyed thoroughly by all ages. So go on a family date this weekend and watch ‘Mubarakan’.
