Muddassar Aziz had directed Dulha Mil Gaya in 2010 and after 6 years now in 2016 he has came with Happy Bhaag Jayegi. It is multi starring romantic comedy movie let's see how is the movie?
Story
The story of the film revovles around Harpreet Kaur alias Happy (Diana Panty) who runs from her marriage on same date. Eventually she reached Pakistan from India to Bilal Ahmad (Abhay Deol) and Zoya (Momal Shiekh) home. Now on searching of Happy people of India and Pakistan have faced lots of problems. The film takes lots of twist and turns when Daman Singh Bagga (Jimmy Shergil) and Guddu (Ali Fazal) reached to Pakistan in search of Happy. Now what happens next you can see in the theaters.
Script
The director has tried to present a mixture of comedy and romance through this film. Earlier taking the angle of Pakistan and India movies like War Chodd Na Yaar and Bajrangi Bhaijaan have made but this time taking different cast tried to make a romantic comedy movie. There are many scenes where you laugh and sometime laugh riot. Cinematography and direction of the film is also good.
Performances
Diana Penty who has made comeback after four years has done her work very good and she fits to the role of Happy. On the same front Jimmy Shergil, Abhay Deol and Ali Fazal have played their roles perfectly. Pakistani actress Momal Sheikh's work is also good which will help her to bag other projects. Piyush Mishra is also very good.
Weakness
Film's songs makes sometime the film very lengthy as you can say it doesn't match with the timing. FIlm's editing can make film perfect and climax also can be perfect.
Music
Film's music is good and Sohail Sen presents songs very perfectly.
