Kabir Khan told why he is not directing sequel of Ek Tha Tiger

Kabir Khan has completed the shooting of Salman Khan starring movie Tubelight but he didn't get the chance to direct the sequel of his movie Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai. Now Sultan fame director Ali Abbas Zafar is directing the Tiger Zinda Hai and Kabir has full faith in Alia Abbas Zafar. Kabir said that the series has started by him and Ali is taking forward to it. I am happy for him, he was my assistant and friend. Kabir Khan said that the rights of this film series are on Yashraj Films hand and that's why Ali is directing it. He will make Tiger in his own way, however, the character and basic steps will remain same. The world what I have created will remain but the presentation will be totally different. Kabir Khan is happy to complete shooting of Tubelight before the time Ali Abbas Zafar has written the story of Tiger Zinda Hai and that's why Kabir has denied any interference in it. Kabir told that the shooting of the film has been started in Morocco and the film is slated to released on 22nd December 2017.  Let me tell you that Ali also made the film Sultan starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma. Salman Khan's acting in Tubelight is five times better than Bajrangi Bhaijaan says, Kabir Khan These days director Kabir Khan is busy with the post-production work of his film Tubelight which is slated to hit the screens on Eid 2017. He is also planning a different strategy for the promotions of Tubelight. This is Salman Khan's second franchise film after Dabangg.
