'Kaavaan Kaavaan' From 'Lucknow Central' Is Foot Tapping And Fun

Remember the iconic song from 2001’s movie ‘Monsoon Wedding’ titled ‘Kawa Kawa’ that was sung by Sukhwinder Singh? Well, Now the makers of movie ‘Lucknow Central’ have recreated the popular shaadi song. The movie ‘Lucknow Central’ starring starring Farhan Akhtar in the lead role has released its first song titled ‘Kawa Kawa’. The song is an out-and-out peppy number which is composed by Arjuna Harjaie with lyrics by Kumaar and vocals by Divya Kumar. The producer of the Nikkhil Advani said that they wanted an anthem song for the movie. “After a long debate on whether we should create and original song or pick up an existing chartbuster, we all together, me, Farhan and Ajit Andhare (COO, Viacom18) zeroed on ‘Kawa Kawa’. The movie has an ensemble star cast including Farhan Akhtar, Diana Penty, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy, Gippy Grewal, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq, Uday Tikekar, Sukh Kunwar . Lucknow Central is already creating buzz for its mammoth jail set and intriguing storyline. Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and is slated to release on September 15, 2017.
