Director Vivek Malhotra has made his first romantic film 'Junooniyat' with Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat. Yami and Pulkit were seen in Saman Re, in which their work was appreciated. Come lets know how is this film. Story : Story of the film is about Indian Army Captain Jahaan Bakshi (Pulkit Samrat) and Suhani Kapoor (Yami Gautam). During an incident, Suhani meets Jahaan and both fell in love, but the tweet comes when Suhani's family gets angry with this relation. Now lets see what happen to these love birds. Script : Story of the film is typical love story, in which logic can not be used. In an Army Area, girl is caught doing swimming and Head invites her to the party. Whole film is about co-incidence. Story is too weak and there is nothing appealing. Script could have been much better and to fit the song, special sequence are prepared, because of which film speed gets affected. Good thing about the film is the Shyari used in it. Acting : Pulkit Samrat is again seen talking like Salman Khan, so because of that it looks Artificial. Yami has done good acting. But there is not much to appreciate. Weakness : Weak part is the script, long, mixed sequence, so it gets difficult to connect. Music : Music of the film is very nice. Songs were hit before it's release, but song in the film are seen fitted forcefully. It could have been much better.
