Gaurang Doshi on allegation of Illeana D'Cruz
Producer Gaurang Doshi has kept his side for the first time on the allegation imposed by Illeana D'Cruz regarding Aankhen 2. Gaurang has given answers to Illeana's Allegation.
Illeana claimed that, her name was included in the film without her permission. When Doshi was asked about this, then he said, when met Illeana for film's lead role, then she gave her consent. Doshi told in detail, 'I talked to Illeana about the film in Taj Lands End Hotel Mumbai. Where Anees Bazmee and Neeraj Pathak was also there with me. We narrated the story to Illeana and also the songs. She likee both the things and he confirmed that she will be doing the film.'
Let me tell you, Illeana name was also included in the starcast list with Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Arshad Warsi, but she was not seen in the event with other stars and news came that Illeana has not signed the film and she is planning to send notice to the makers. however, Gaurang says that it happened because of delay in paper work. He said, 'We started the Signing process after her Yes, which takes time. We had to announce our film also.'
A video was also made for the introduction of cast, in which Illeana was seen. Gaurang said, 'After she said yes, I made a announcement video of the starcast, now if she don't want to work, then I have no problem. Our wishes are with her.'
Now Gaurang is searching for other actress. On asked about used Illeana name for Publicity, then he said, 'If it would be like that, then we would have taken names of big actress like Deepika or Katrina, we would have not used Illeana.'
Now after this news, Gaurang had no talks with her. He said, 'We make films honestly. When you announce a film with such big stars then there are people who interfere.
