Firangi Box Office Collection Day Wise Budget Hit or Flop

Firangi Box Office Collection Report; Day 1 Shows Good Signals, The Bollywood movie Firangi starring Kapil Sharma, Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in lead roles, reportedly got a good opening at the box office on day 1. According to collection reports, the movie bagged  Rs 2.10 crore on its release day. Apart from the Kapil Sharma starrer, Viraam and Sunny Leone’s Tera Intezaar also hit the floors on the first Friday of December 2017. As per the initial collection reports, both the movies are not doing well at the box office. The presence of Sunny Leone is the highlight of Tera Intezaar. Despite her presence, the movie seems to fail in pulling the crowd to the theatres. Among the three, Firangi received a slightly better response while the other two received mixed reviews from the audience. It is not the time to give a verdict whether they are hit or flop on the ground of collection day 1. With the weekends begin, the collection is likely to shoot up on day 2 and 3. The Rajiv Dhingra directorial is set in the backdrop of India in the 1920s and was primarily shot in Rajasthan and Punjab. The movie speaks about a man who believed the British not to be bad as they are believed to be. Kapil Sharma produces Firangi. The Bollywood film Firangi got released on December 1 after changing its release dates a couple of times. It was first announced to release on 10th of November. Later on October 12, the release date was postponed to November 24 which again changed to December 1. The first-day collection shows that it (the move to change the release date) to be a good decision as it stands as a key factor in driving more collection in the initial days. As mentioned earlier, only three movies were released on the same day due to less competition. Not many Bollywood movies were released on December 1. Till date, only those movies which had a great opening at the box office have become hits. Having a good opening, now Firangi is expected to have more screens on the second day as the weekend begins. We need to see how long the movie can stay in the theatres as big releases are coming in this month as special packages for the year-ender and Christmas seasons. Fukrey Returns will hit the floors on December 8. The major release of the month will be Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai. The movie has registered 22nd of the month as its release date. Now the success of Firangi will remain how well it collects in the first week.
