A Film Can Either Make Good Money Or Have Good Reviews Says Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurrana, over the years, has always impressed the audience, he does the kind of films which audience relate and appreciate. The former anchor turned actor made his acting debut in 2012 with the critical hit ‘Vicky Donor’, his performance in the movie was appreciated both by the critics and the audience, he then went on to do movies like ‘Nautanki Sala’, ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, ‘Hawaizaada’ and many more. This year has been a good one for Ayushmann, he has done three different films and done a good job in it. His year started with the musical ‘Meri Pyari Bindu’, where he was seen romancing Parineeti Chopra, the movie didn’t work out at the Box Office but he was praised for his performance, then he came up with ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ alongside Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon, the movie became both commercial and critical hit and of course, his latest film ‘Shubh Mangal Savadhan’ with Bhumi Pednekar also became a successful film. Now, Ayushmann Khurrana talking about his films said that he is very happy with the response he got for his films. “Either a film makes a good money or it gets good reviews from the critics; however, it’s important to have at least one of them. If it gets both, awesome, but it’s important to have one”, he said. Acknowledging the fact that some big movies this year has failed in the Box Office, Ayushmann feels that his career is on the right track, he said, “I do movie which doesn’t have a lot of production value because if the movie fails at the Box Office, it’s not that high on the producers”. Ayushmann will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s thriller ‘Shoot The Piano Player’ with Tabu and Radhika Apte.
