Famous Hindi novelist Ved Prakash Sharma passed away

The famous Hindi novelist Ved Prakash Sharma has passed away in Meerut on Friday, and 62 years old Ved was battling illness for a long time. Ved belonged from that Hindi mode which used to say commercial in Hindi films. He wrote more than 176 novels and most of them were hit. Ved who has written many Bollywood films was famous for writing films like Sabse Bada Khiladi which was as an adaption of his novel Lallu. In the film Sabse Bada Khiladi, Akshay Kumar played the lead role of Lallu and other actors Mamta Kulkarni and Mohnish Behl played other leading roles. The film was a part of Akshay Kumar's Khiladi series and it was a great hit at that time. Even the film Internation Khiladi was a screen adaption of his screenplay. The interesting thing is that like Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay's fiction character Byomkesh Bakshi, Ved Prakash Sharma also wrote a fiction character Keshav Pandit which became a huge hit. Ved Prakash Sharma wrote many interesting stories taking that character in lead. Even on the show on Zee TV was made on that fictional character. He has also been awarded as Meerut Ratna twice in the years 1992 and 1994. He started his profession as a ghost writer and then after writing more than 23 novels as a ghost writer then finally he got the name in the novel Dhekte Shaher.
