Emraan Hashmi advises people to take early cancer detection test

Popular actor Emraan Hashmi said that people should take early cancer detection tests. He further added that the people are aware of cancer, but they don’t usually take any precautionary measures. Emraan said, “While people are fairly aware about cancer as a disease, there is a dire need for people to undergo early cancer detection tests as a precautionary measure,” Ayaan, son of Emraan Hashmi and his wife Parveen Shahani was diagnosed with the first stage of cancer in 2014. Ayaan was born in 2010 and was diagnosed with the first stage of cancer at the age of four. Emraan Hashmi has been raising awareness about the disease. The actor has even written a book titled “The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer” in 2016. The book covers actor’s career, family, his son’s birth, cancer and treatment after that. Emraan is going to attend a program "Every Life Matters - Ek Jeevan, Swasth Jeevan". "Every Life Matters - Ek Jeevan, Swasth Jeevan" is an initiative carried out by Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Lokmat Group on Wednesday in Nagpur. The actor has been trying to raise awareness about the disease and said that detecting cancer at an early phase is the main factor for its cure. On the professional front, Emraan Hashmi will be seen in “Baadshaho” alongside Ajay Devgn. Baadshaho is an upcoming action thriller movie directed by Milan Luthria. The movie features Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Illeana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta. The movie is scheduled to release on 1st September 2017.
