'Dangal' will be the last film to be screened in Regal Theater of New Delhi

84 years old Regal Theater in New Delhi has faced many problems like High Entertainment tax, competition with Multiplex and Piracy, but never had triggered to close this theater. But now this theater is facing the problem of Demonetization. Aamir Khan's film 'Dangal' will be the last film of this theater. The owner of Regal Theater Vishal Chaudhary said, 'Since last 1 decade, the business of this theater is very bad, but last month it was worst. With the film 'Befikre' we were able to earn only 4 lacs. We have expected 10 lacs from this film. The amount which is earned from the tickets, it's half is given to the distributors. We need 2 lacs in a week to run the show.' Dangal movie review Cinema hall owners have to also give 40% of entertainment tax. So their profit is affected by this. In last one months, Regal has canceled his night shows 6 times. Dangal will not release in Pakistan This theater was built in 1932. There is a special place of Regal in the heart of Cinema lovers because actors like Raj Kapoor and Nargis used to attend film premieres here. Vishal says, 'we want to get old days back. But now we don't know when we'll be able to save our business. If any man takes 2000 note after standing in line for hours, then do you think that he will waste his money on movies?' Aamir Khan will be seen playing the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat in this film. He will be seen as a wrestler in the film. Nitesh Tiwari has directed this film.
