Anurag Kashyap’s Next Movie ‘Mukkabaaz’ To Release In November

Anurag Kashyap’s next movie ‘Mukkabaaz’ release date is now revealed. The movie is set to release on the 10^th of November. Anurag’s last movie ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ didn’t do quite well at the Box Office but was appreciated by the critics, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal did an awesome job, portraying a dark character in the movie.

Now, Anurag sets his eyes on ‘Mukkabaaz’, which is said to be a boxing film. The movie will be produced by Anand L Rai who is presently busy with his directorial untitled venture with Shah Rukh Khan. As per the rumours Vineet Kumar Singh will be the lead actor in the movie, he has worked with Anurag in the movies like ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’, ‘Ugli’ and ‘Bombay Velvet’ and now he is set to collaborate with him in ‘Mukkabaaz’.

Today a promotional teaser of the movie was released. The 21 seconds video has the voice over of Bhojpuri Star Ravi Kishan, where he says, “Uttar Pradesh ke Mike Tyson, jinhe pehla mukka chalane se pehle ek brahman ki kanya se mohabbat ho gai”. His voice over suggests that he might be in the movie and it would be nice to see the talented actor again in a Bollywood movie.

Considering it to be  Anurag Kashyap's movie and the kind of cinema he creates, this movie is sure to be something to look forward to. After his ‘Bombay Velvet’ that doomed at the Box Office, Anurag tried to recreate his magic with ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ but it again wasn't appreciated largely.

Now let us hope that 'Mukkabaaz' acts as a game changer for the director.
