Ajay Devgn was born on 2nd April 1969, to Stunt choreographer Veeru Devgan and Veena Devgan. The actor’s real name is Vishal Veeru Devgan and is a successful, actor, producer and director. He is married to one of the most talented actresses of Bollywood Kajol who is the daughter of veteran actress Tanuja.
Ajay started his career in acting with the movie ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ and from his first movie only garnered much appreciation for his performance and action. The actor then got to work on many projects and then won a Best Actor National Award for the movie ‘Zakham’. His role and acting in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ in 1999 was also much loved and appreciated.
In the year 2000, the actor played the role of a gangster in movie ‘Company’ and a negative role in the movie ‘Deewangee’ and both his performances were bath breaking for his career. Later in the year 2003, his portrayal of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, in the ‘The Legends of Bhagat Singh’ got him his second National Awafor of Best Actor.
The actor has been part of many commercially successful movies like, ‘Gangajal’, ‘Yuva’, ‘Rain Coat’, ‘Omakara’, ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, ‘Singham’which showcased an intense actor in him.
The actor is also known for his amazing comic timing and has been a part of the movies like ‘Golmaal’ series, ‘Bol Bachchan’ and ‘Son Of Sardar’ which again made him popular in this genre too.
Lately, the actor has delivered some really amazing movies like ‘Singham 2’ and ‘Drishyam’ which have further contributed to Ajay’s already established career.
The actor now has gone into producing movies too and has been picking up interesting projects.
