This actor replaced Farhan Akhtar in Akshay Kumar's Gold

Akshay Kumar will be seen in next movie called Gold which will be produced by Farhan Akhtar's production house Excel Entertainment. A few days back there were the reports that Farhan Akhtar can play second lead in the film but now there are reports that Farhan has rejected the role. Now Saqib Saleem who was last seen in Rohit Dhawan's Dishoom in the role of cricketer Viraj has replaced Farhan in the film. According to a report, in an interview, Farhan Akhtar said that he has played the lead role in a biopic so now he is more focusing on main lead movies. The story of the film is set in the backdrop of 1948 when India won its first gold medal independent. That time when the film was announced nothing was got to know. But now according to sources, the film is a story of hockey legend Balbir Singh. saqib and akshay Esha Gupta trying hard to get role in Gold Akshay will be seen in the role of Balbir Singh in the film. Balbir was the part of the Indian team in 1948 Olympics. He became vice-captain of the team in 1952 Olympic and then in 1956 he became the captain of the film in Olympics. This is being said that in the film the story will be focused on Balbir Singh who played an important role in winning a gold medal for India. Gold is not just about hockey After Farhan, the team of Gold has approached Saqib Saleem but till now he has not said yes to the film. The film will release in 2018.
